Supposedly they interviewed Reimer today and asked him how he thought Carlyle did as a coach to which Reimer responded "He did OK."

This is funny because this is exactly what coach said about his performance once... Yuk yuk yuk

too many dumb ass coaches, too much practice, too much body building etc... too much business
can't people just foking play, and the most talented rise? :dunno:
I had a few beverages, but fok off with the turning of good things into hype and needing steroids/excessive regiment to compete...

Carlyle is actually a good coach. The problem in Toronto is simple and Ron Wilson said it best. Phil Kessel is on for 2 weeks and then off for 2 weeks. The guy has no heart. SUPER fucking skilled with a wicked shot, but he's by far the most inconsistent player I've ever watched in my entire life. Also, Wilso n also siad it best. The Leafs need 2 SOLID stud dmen. They Leafs have offensive guys like young kids like Rielly, Gardiner and Franson. Phaneuf is a PYLON so I won't even waste my time ranting about him. People who claim that Carlyle is a horrible coach don't understand or follow the game.

Ever wonder why the team isn't called the Toronto Maple LEAVES?
Any hockey fans in the house? Well just in case some of you aren’t, The Toronto Maple Leafs (yes Leafs, not Leaves ) is the name of a professional hockey team based in Toronto, Canada. Founded in 1917, the team is one of the original six league members. When the team was first established, it was christened the Toronto St.Patricks.

The franchise was sold in in 1929, and renamed the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club (Toronto Maple Leafs for short), and given the team colors blue and white. The name was chosen to honor the Maple Leaf Regiment from World War 1. As the regiment is a proper noun, its plural is Maple Leafs (not Maple Leaves). Take that grammar Nazis.
