When is New Orleans?

Been there a half dozen times and eaten all around the garden, marigny and treme districts. Foods good for sure... but I feel like any city with 200k+ population has good food. I dunno, just not for me I guess. Maybe my first visit (like you described) colored my opinion beyond repair.

One of the few American cities I haven’t been to. I’ve been to Louisiana and it was just…depressing.

Maybe New Orleans would be fun, but I always have been under the impression unless I’m looking to get drunk, I won’t enjoy it.
