No clue. I checked the ingredient list and it's between the chocolate and possibly soy. I don't believe he's had soy before.

I know there are tests to pin down what people are allergic to. I am lucky enough to not be allergic to anything but I remember my brother and sister having to go through a thing that involved basically a matrix of pinpricks and see what you react to.

But maybe that is an ancient thing that isn't done anymore, or maybe that's for when you are older?

The person that gave him the chocolate ice cream (still miffed about that) insists that he has had soy before. I don't remember this.

Big E has had allergy testing, but we had to wait until she was one to have it done. Unfortunately, we're dealing with a whole different medical system here and it's a brutally long process to even get an appointment. We would need an initial appointment with the pediatrician in order to get an appointment with an allergist. I miss my old insurance. I tried to schedule his one-year appointment a few weeks back, but there weren't any openings until July.

I know I don't have to tell you but damn, allergies can be really consequential.

That's the one, MrM! I had Blue Cross/Blue Shield up until last July. I regret moving and leaving my last job.

Muddy, I'm going to call tomorrow to see if they can get him in since it was an emergency situation over the weekend. I probably won't be able to, but i'm going to try.
