Apparently there are fitted sheets and non fitted(?) sheets.
Which one goes on 1st?
I don't see any point in the non fitted sheet.
I'm having a hard time finding a quality fitted sheet without all the other sheets and shams and pillow cases and crap that they want you to buy together.
Does anybody know what the fok I'm talking about?:sparesomecutter:

fitted sheet comes with every set i have ever seen and of course, goes on first, followed the bed sheet...maybe im not following ... if you are asking where to find just a plain white fitted bed sheet, try bed bath beyond or something like that...hell, maybe even target

nothing less than egyptian 500count is a very comfy sleeping standard... after the korean squirter ruined 2 sets of 1020counts and a mattress, i said fuck it and went bought some 500count... very soft ... now i am back to an 800count and 2 1020counts and its like night and day... you cant put a price on getting great sleep :dontthinkso:

well thats the problem. I can't find 500count + fitted sheet separately. I don't want the other stuff.

so you sleep on top of a sheet which is on top of a fitted sheet?

btw, it took me a while to figure out that the thing was called a fitted sheet.:mrquincy:

The fitted sheet usually has elastic type corners and covers the mattress. You sleep on top of that...under a regular sheet. Go to TJ Maxx...they have quality sheet sets usually with fitted and flat sheet and pillow cases only...

i have never seen a fitted sheet sold separately.....or a regular flat sheet for that matter. Maybe they sell them, but easier to just buy a complete set.

Last ones I got were%100 combed cotton Calvin Klein 320 count sateen. Good enough for me. I get all my sheets at TJ Maxx...they have a good range of quality sheets at good prices.

My sheets would have to be considered a joke. I got multiple sets of all the crap but they are not nice in any way.

One set I call my Captain America sheets. They aren't actually Captain America but they have a pattern of stylized 5-pointed stars. I imagine they were made with a 10 year-old in mind. I do not bring a ton of women to my bed but there has been some friendly joshing on those occasions. I usually start the joking which feels like a solid strategy to me.

The other couple sets look a bit better, more adult. Many (all?) of the sets are worn in spots. I am able to sleep on/under all of them just fine.

But yeah, fitted sheet goes under and clings to the mattress. Regular sheet goes on top (in fact at this time of year, that's all I use on top - no blanket. It's pretty warm these nights is what I'm saying.) Pillow cases are self-explanatory.

But I have too many of those other useless sheets. It makes sense if you use them as a blanket for hot nights like Muddy says, (I remember doing that before AC)
I did find fitted sheet only, at Walmart, but its thread 200 which is pretty rough. They have higher quality combos, but sold together only.

The bed I am sleeping in has sheets bought by a woman. She is very particular about sheets. Went to Marshalls and spent 30 minutes looking for the proper sheets. Fitted on first, unfitted afterwords and then a crap load of blankets on top.

Thread count does make a difference. No question IMO.

It's threads like this that remind me how much metrosexuality we have at gamelive.

Guys with delicate, sensitive parts and elaborate fussy methods to shave their face and complicated ideas about laundy.

Reno, do what you have to do about the sheets, but I need you to stay with me on the man's man side of things.

Why is that even a question?
