Oh, Plommer. Don't be so naive.

You honestly don't think that the costs banks, insurance companies, retail stores, etc. incur from being scammed and stolen from are passed along to you as a consumer? Jeez.

Where did I say that?

All I said was I love a good scam when the victim is one that I listed.

I don't give a fuck what costs are passed on to me as a consumer, nothing I can do about that and the way the capitalist system works the little guy ie consumer always gets fucked anyways.
I believe that.

F0cker, I don't have any solutions to the worlds problems pal, I'm just along for the ride.

You're the one being scammed by a scammer, Plommer. If you think you're scamproof because you don't fall prey to the most obvious scams, you're sadly mistaken.
If you could be a little more specific perhaps I could agree with you.

I think I know what you're getting at but as I said earlier I believe that the way the system works its the rich vs the poor or vs the not so rich and the poor cannot win.

I'm no mathemetician but it appears as though those with all the money are doing an excellent job of making sure no one else joins them at the top of the capitalist pyramid.

In order for the rich to remain rich there will always have to be people at the bottom of the food chain.

F0cker, I'm also not naive enough to believe that the savings large corps enjoyed from not being scammed would be passed on to the consumer, they will raise prices when they see fit, its all about greed.

Plommer I've been without a phone for a week and a half. Smashed it, haven't replaced it. Kinda liberating. But I guess I'll have to replace it pretty soon.
Sounds like an excuse, all I know is that you weren't there for me when I needed a friend at 4am in the morning.

Remember when you needed a friend on the phone while desperately hailing a cab as the police approached you ready to bash your skull in while you were trippin on acid in Tampa?

I do.

Thanks for nothing, pal.

Ok. Let's say that the Bank of Canada has a specific quarterly earnings goal to satisfy shareholders. Somehow, through a banking glitch $1,000,000 is deposited in an account that it shouldn't have. That person notices this and quickly withdraws all of the money and flees the country. The bank doesn't recover it. Because of this, they have to pay out of their pocket for lost man hours and higher insurance premiums. To recover the costs of this and try to keep in line with earnings, they implement a $0.25 higher ATM withdrawal fee. So, now every time you use the ATM, you're paying for some scammer that got away.

I agree with this, absolutely.

I also believe that they wouldn't lower fees if they made huge profits that year. What incentive do they have to do so?

F0cker the capitalist system is flawed and tilted heavily in favour of the rich, nothing I can do about that, I also don't have any practical solutions. Whether I like it or not I'm just along for the ride pal.

I still say fuck'em, fuck the rich.
