I fired our home health agency that comes every morning over a matter of principle. Fairly snap decision...I am just now beginning to feel pangs of regret and anxiety. It felt good at the time though.

Fok.

I realize totally unrelated to anything in this thread. I don't care.

Why'd you do it?

I love it when IAG unleashes hell on people.

RAWR

No seriously, what went down.
Long story but basically I asked if they would transport mom to daycare in the morning as they had so much extra time. I was told it would be no problem. When I approached the aides, the "main" one went batshit crazy and made up a number of excuses and then poisoned the office's head. There is more to it, but it was more that they gave me the complete run around for a week and never did provide me with a valid explanation as to why they couldn't do it I still don't know why.

They are working thru the end of next week, but it took so long to get a regular staff with whom I was comfortable. I probably cut off my nose to spite my face, but if I use another agency in town than we can get bumped up on the waiting list for the associated nursing home. Otherwise it's practically impossible to get in to one of the better ones. I was planning to add them on in some capacity anyway, but not daily as they are definitely more costly. It is just such a hassle to train a new group.

I had someone try to be a smarty-pants with me yesterday about the grammar of something I said but my grammar was correct.

Adverb. I used an adverb to modify a verb. That is proper.

You are the one who is stupid.

Stupid-head.

You'll hire them back and I'll respect you for it
No. Had they been honest with me, I would have accepted that she just didn't want to do it regardless of her reason. The shenanigans that went on were unacceptable, and I just need to suck it up and move on. It's too bad as I really liked them all and they all LOVE mom.
