Just opened a letter from the Denver TH Association. It is a copy of the pool rules.

One states:

"Swimming suits (not cut-offs or tennis attire) are required when using the pool. "Solo" swimming and nudity is prohibited. No incontinent persons with pampers/diapers are allowed in the pool." (sic)

What the heck is "Solo" swimming? Swimming in the pool by yourself? Since it is lumped in with apparel/nudity, I am thinking it has to be related to that.

I have googled it, and all I have found is that whatever it is also prohibited at the pool at Mandalay Bay.

Seems like a pretty clear cut rule if ya ask me.

Well it would have been if it would have been a separate bullet point. Stuck in there with nudity and diapers, it threw me. They have like 30 different rules...seems like it would have warranted it's own line to avoid confusion.

It is not an issue of being sanitary, it's a safety issue. Plus they have it in quotes- No "Solo" swimming....it's presented like that means something other than what it is. WTH would you put that in quotation marks?

Right Matty...no lifeguard I guess that is what it means. It's a new rule. It's a stupid rule. What it shoul say is that people who cannot swim should not be in the pool when it is otherwise unattended.

I used to go to the pool on Friday afternoons to get away from people. I don't want to have to call a friend or make sure there is someone else there for me to be able to swim. That's f'ing ridiculous.
