you drinking already stevie? ... the guy had so many great songs from each solo album... brilliant songwriter and did everything right as far as blending with what was popular... his solo career blows away most everyone you can think of that left a successful band to do their own thing...just my opinion... loved him on miami vice too.

Agree. The solo stuff was godawful. Painfully awful. Made a lot of money of course - the worst crap often does.

Trick of the Tale was actually a very good album that proved he didn't have to have Peter Gabriel to produce good music. But then the slide began.
