I'm just going to weigh in that the wearable fitness tracker trend feels forced to me and I'm not predicting it to have any significant staying power. Other than having a gizmo to poke at and fill the occasional void, is there really a point?
I'm pretty sure people know if they're getting enough exercise or not, getting enough sleep or not. I'm not buying it.
I'm sure that, for a short time after getting one of these things, the average person will exercise more, so they can play with their new toy, but after the novelty wears off, I really doubt it.
I'm also going out on a limb and betting that reno cool will not be making an appearance in this thread.
Novelty is wearing out quick for me.
Definitely an asset if someone is serious about being healthy.
The food log program is neat.
