Just finished the book last night. Wasn't the most entertaining book, but it kept me turning the pages to find out what happens.

Has anyone seen the movie yet?

I purposely avoided finding out which actors/actresses were playing which roles.

I'm not really happy with the vampire dude and reese witherspoon. will most likely go see it this weekend

In the book the story alternates from the young guy's adventure in the circus and then back to when he is 93 and in an old folk's home. reflecting on life and growing old.

I liked the old folks segments, I love grumpy old men and I can't wait to be one.....

I doubt they'll have that in the movie...

I give it a 72 out of 100 star rating.

lots of old people go to this movie for some reason. and old people show up to movies way early. so if you want a good seat, be sure to get there early.

Movie did a pretty good job of staying true to the book, while making some needed adjustments and tweeks.

I would have to go with the book as hands down better, as you just can't develop as many characters as deeply as in the movies.

also the chick that wrote the book was kind pererted and wrote alot of detailed stuff. Including how a midget's purple penis head bobbed around after he got caught wacking off
