Very tricky situation not waiting TOO long with a pet. It's a tough call to make. I made the mistake of waiting too long once. I won't make it again.

If your kitty was in pain, it's a lot better that it happened rather than not although it never seems to feel that way.

yeah he was in a lot of pain, and had completely lost control of the rear half of his body. it all happened so quickly that he wasn't in pain for long.
