I still haven't decided, but I'm leaning no.

I'd rather watch on TV where I can get up to the minute trade info, and stats and highlights on the players, as well as be near my comp to pull up info on them...

It would certainly be a really cool experience, but unlike football where I've seen all these kids play in college, in hockey I only know the top prospects and only from what I've read. I don't want to be sitting there cheering when the Kings pick some guy I've never heard of, I'd prefer to be on my comp learning about him, hearing what the analysts have to say, and catching an interview/highlights of him.

But I MAY stop being a nerd and suck it up and go. We'll see, haha.

I do, and don't get me wrong, I'd recognize some of the names and what not... I just don't know nearly enough about the top 100 kids in the country these days.

Because he's a useless douchebag cunt. He hasn't marketed teh game at all in the U.S.

Moving a team from The Peg to Phoenix made no sense at all. Putting 2 teams in southern Florida makes no sense at all. Hell, having teams in Florida period makes no sense at all.

Blitty, I'll give you $256 (CAN) if you punch Bettman in the arm. $539 (CAN) if you punch him in the face.

Those teams have been there for 20 years....why do you care about US marketing if you want less teams here? Those reasons aren't very valid pucky, I thought you were going to do better than that.

There are 4-6 too many teams in the NHL Blitty. Because of this, the talent pool is watered down big time. You have AHL calibre players playing on 3rd and 4th lines and making $1 million per season. That's fucking insane.
