No work today. My truck died this morning so now I got to see what it is going to cost to get fixed. I think it's the alternator but hard to see anything under the hood at 6 am.

I'm not entirely certain that I'm going to be here now. My grandpa's results came back tonight and he has stage 3 throat cancer. I'm not sure how much I'm going to be going back and forth yet or how things are going to progress in his treatment. He will be undergoing an experimental treatment.

I'm not doing well with this.

A friend of mine is in remission from Stage IV throat cancer but he was diagnosed at 41.

Talk about a cooler getting diagnosed @ 41.

Hopefully your grandpa beats this.

Wow. Really? That's encouraging actually. Did he need a laryngectomy?

Apparently, they aren't doing one on my grandpa yet. I'm hoping that's just because it's not that advanced. He will apparently need to be fed by my grandma through a tube out of his stomach since he won't be able to swallow.

What a horrible disease.

No. He just got a ton of chemo and radiation. He's a barber and after they had done the heavy early treatment he had enough energy (and need) to work a few hours a day. He had the chemo box clipped to his belt buckle while he worked.
