Hours after learning opponent Thiago Alves failed a CT scan and was scratched from the card, his opponent, Jon Fitch, has agreed to replace Jake Ellenberger and fight fellow welterweight Ben Saunders on the UFC 111 pay-per-view main card.
 
so what happens if you're ellenberger? sorry so sad too bad? sucks to be him.

but i must admit....i am loving a fitch-saunders matchup. sanuders is a strange bird with unique style that could give fitch a bit of trouble imo.

does this mean i dont have to pay $50 to see kurt pellegrino fight now? :clap:

Yeah I watched that shit card too. That main event looked like a bar brawl. They had the stamina of two drunken rednecks as well. I lost on Bailey. He got destroyed. Then I was given an absolute gift with Galvao. There was some shady shit going on there. I can tell you the UFC is in no danger from STRIKEFORCE.

Strikeforce does itself no favors airing those shitty cards. They should scrap it (altho i take all action i can see) and stick with the stable of absolute studs they have. And they have quite a few now.

That main event last night was hilarious. Anytime the main draw is a brutha who was shot up at the local bbq 6 mos ago, you know you're witnessing greatness. Anderson Silva who? :lmao:
