Extra time. :yikes: Anything can happen and forget the 1st half. Italy got outplayed later in the 2nd half. Insigne had a few chances of shooting instead of passing and of course Italy never got a shot off. Italy a TEAM but will somebody step up? Thank God for VAR!

It never really makes logical sense but with 6 groups and the 16 teams that made it, 6 had to be #1, 6 #2 and 4 #3.

So you have
a) 4 #1 ones playing 4 #3 ones
b) 2 #1 ones playing 2 #2 ones
c) 4 #2 ones playing 4 #2 ones

I think that adds up and is what is happening. :thinking:And remember that the favs of the groups might not win the group. There really is no numerical seeding per say.

Ah OK. I didn't realize Denmark was #2 with only a win an 2 loses. ...now I have to hear about this fucking Ericsson for another week :facepalm

That was a weak ass group for sure. I agree after wanting Denmark to win, I thought I don't care one way or another about this country. The guy's alive so good for that but hell with them now. :yes:

True but Austria played their hearts out. And the manager didn't want to sub off probably because unlike other powerful countries they don't have proper depth. Thing is he makes 5 subs at 90s and beyond and those guys played their hearts out too. Kudos to them for a good fight.

PS edit lol. Italy scored their 2 goals after the manager made their subs. The manager knows his players. :facepalm
