In Taiwan right now just on a transfer.

Time in HKG is cut very short, left two days late b/c of a passport snafu (my wife took my passport to HKG by mistake - leaving a day before I was supposed to). Planning to go to the horse track tonight, then maybe sight see tomorrow.

Blitty EVA is legit. The have nice big seats in a 1-2-1 configuration on the 777 where the domestic guys have a 2-2-2. So they're much bigger seats. Some dude tried to sneak into I class and they nailed him. It was funny.

Lol. Forget the points game. Better to just hide in bathroom when boarding, then casually end up in premium class before takeoff.

Booked a flight out @ 825pm local Thursday night. Couldn't take the risk given a prepaid hotel in Thailand. Now I have 12 hours to explore HKG. Probably just gonna wander around central, Kowloon, maybe take a bus to Stanley. Bummer but I'll come back.

Oh well. I had an extended layover there, so was pretty similar experience.

I'm in no hurry to go back.

Yeah wandered around a bit today. I get the sense that it's 60% cheap Chinatown stores like we have in new york and 40% luxury stores like we have in new york...
