i amm about as concerned with my own death as george costanza is about pesto
I also think that as you get older and watch friends and family die your will to live dwindles and you look forward to dying.
I see death daily...it wears on me.
.
Why are our days numbered and not, say, lettered?
Check this out. Death records sheet at a major hospital here. This isn't 1874, it's 2010. This is where you will be logged when you die.
They then use you as a coffee table until you begin to smell, I suppose.

Don't any of you have grandparents that are alive yet? My grandma and grandpa are in their 70's and love their lives. My grandpa is an outdoorsman. He loves to go fishing, hunting, and camping. They often will hitch up the travel trailer to the truck and just take off on a road trip at the drop of a hat. They are still young at heart in the sense that they enjoy seeing new things and going on new adventures. That's where I hope to be within a decade. To have no worries about your life. Live in retirement. Relax. Enjoy the little things in life. They say they've never been happier. I don't know how you could be.
There is a lot to live for. Stop trying to live your life dead already.
