a) i'm pissed at the timing and think it was a calm/political strike at donald trump from OBAMA..... since I didn't get to see the last 15 mins of the apprentice and who got fired.

True. By any practical measure, killing Bin Laden means next to nothing. If anyone is telling themselves that everything is fixed now - or even marginally better than it was yesterday morning - they are delusional.

But politically, it was a necessary symbolic gesture, appealing to the basest emotions of the electorate.
 
Shoulda kept him alive for a bit, send him on a media tour (Leno/Letterman/Conan/Kimmel/Oprah/Piers Morgan/Celebrity Apprentice), have someone ghost-write his memories, make him part of a SNL skit, etc.

Then put him inside a NYC building set for demolition and detonate that shit.
