Wal you stated that my posts are not thought provoking, so here is something I am very much interested in:

Evolution vs. Creation and the big bang theory(not the show)

Seems that not only scientists but now some religious people are interested in perhaps bridging the gap between the two,
that maybe both theories exist together.

I am somewhat more so for evolution, though I do think that it all had to start somewhere, and so maybe that is where a higher deity comes into play.

Thoughts?

A majority of us are raised under the belief that God created all.

Science tells us that things evolve and since science is based in facts and creation relies solely on faith the older we get the easier it is to trust in evolution.
People who believe in evolution think those who still believe in creation are nave and perhaps even delusional.

Personally I believe in evolution but I also think that is the safe belief system. It is much more courageous and even daring to believe in something that cannot be explained than to believe in scientific evidence.

Can there be some sort of combination? Certainly one could argue that creation has evolved. That God created the beginning and that time has developed what we have today. Im not sure if that is the start of a new religion or if its Christianitys way of compromising for the sake of tomorrows generations.

Plausible, I guess so. However in order for this compromise to occur one still has to have faith or the need to hold onto faith.

Some people need to believe in creation because they need to believe in religion because they need to believe in God because they need to be free from making their own decisions or be responsible. People need faith because they need to believe there is something better in the end.

Some might argue that people believe in evolution because they cant admit that they arent in control.

Fok it all. Bread is probably more right than wrong, in the end its just dark, quiet dirt.

In the end, we all end up six feet under.

What about dinosaurs, I think some of that is a load of crap, kids grow up convinced they look and sound a certain way, all based on someones hypothesized guess or the color of their skin/scales/whatever, a guess on what they MIGHT have sounded like, for all we know they could have been purple and sounded like a cat! There are no traces of vocal chords left to even begin to hypothesize what they may or may not sound like, no way to tell the appearance of the surface. Drives me crazy.

ok I wasn't intending to step on toes here, or really start some profound conversation, this was more so to prove a point to wal that yes I am capable of think about things mentally.

However, when I post here, it's just all in good fun, sure I'll put my two cents in on a conversation, but I just enjoying being friendly and conversating.

So, thanks for the bumps on the thread Rog and Steves, but I'm all good.

Cami, I meant to tell you yesterday, you can simply tell me to Fok Off! No need to explain yourself or try to prove yourself. If you have any trouble at all just ask Durito. He tells me to fok off more than he says hello.

:lmao: Understood.
But I would never do that, I like you, if not mentally admire you, so therefor I feel the need to keep up if anything,
but thank you.

cute to see Wally try to "play tough" with a "new comer" and then kinda back pedal and maybe regret his harsh words...... IMO

I can't wait till Wal's future gf/fiancee posts here and Cami, Steve, and I will give her a hard time and said her posts are basically void of intelligible thought
