Blitty, I had a deviated septum and got it ( or thought I did) fixed about 21 years or so ago. It didn't do a thing.

Getting a septoplasty did ZERO to help my sleep apnea.

I can, however, breathe better through my nose during the day.

My surgery made minimal difference and even a recent visit to an ENT confirmed. Sleep apnea is definitely serious stuff.

The worst thing when I got my nose done was the damn packing up both nostrils. Made for a shitty 2-3 days.

Try also the Breath Right Strips and a humidifier in the bedroom. Dry air from heat in the winter is bad for breathing.
