They will need Shaw to develop, they have started 6 3B already. The Cubs should let Hodge remain the closer until he blows up.

They would have had a place for him had he had 7 HR’s and a .912 OPS on April 24th. Any team would. League average OPS is currently .710

They gave up on him too quick (if he puts together a good full season).
