There was a ton of coolness being a Jays fan from about 1981 through those two World Serieses. Many would point to an Ed Sprague home run in the 1992 series as a bigger turning point for the franchise.
But obviously the Carter thing was pretty splashy.
Whatever, we had the highest payroll and the set attendance records left, right and center.
How we have become a small market team, I don't quite understand.
