The Durito 500

Gonna take a chance today. I have a couple of baseball things but nothing really strong. Plus I am trying to limit baseball to opening games of series and the occassional other play.

Today's Play:

Dallas/Miami UNDER 187 (-110)

$100 to win $90.

Today I am going against the grain. My system supports a play on New York Yankees. New York is 15-5 against Cleveland in their previous 20 games not to mention winning 5 straight in the series. Cleveland is just 6-14 in their last 20 games overall having lost 9 of their last 10 games. In fact Cleveland is just 16-35 in their last 51 games with New York so to say New York owns the Indians would be fairly accurate.

Today's Plays:

Cleveland Indians +165

$100 to win $165.

I don't overly excited often but this one made me very very happy.

1-0 (+$165)
Durito Record: 225-195-6 (+$1193)

Something about tonight's play doesn't feel right. I imagine it's partly because I was so busy at work today with all the electrical problems created by the lightning strike that I didn't have time to run the numbers. I basically just picked this game a couple of minutes ago because I wanted to get a play in.

Tonight's Play:

Milwaukee Brewers -140

$100 to win $71.
For what it's worth I prefer the OVER 8 at even odds but that feels even more fishy than the actual play posted.

My sense of fair play may cost me this challenge Arch. I deliberately set it up with no time limit so I could avoid sports I don't like or have never been any good at but I would feel guilty if I just sat out an entire season.

I don't see why it's not fair play to wait it out

wally maybe you just are in the swing and are having trouble sitting days out?

The mere fact that you have now posted in this thread warms my cockles. It's like the On The Record: Enigma thread has bonded us.

Seriously though I was successful with hockey and college basketball and want to be successful in baseball. If I can right the ship and get it to a winning percentage I will be very happy. However if I slide to a minimal positive then I will hibernate.
