Had plenty of qualifiers today and I gave much consideration to playing all of them since many were projected as outright winners even though they are getting points. As I have started doing I will list all qualifiers even though I'm not playing them all for the challenge. They are Memphis, UAB, Ball St, UConn, Oklahoma, Colorado, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Marshall and Utah St.

Today's Play:

Pittsburgh -10 (-110) WINNER
Utah St -6.5 (-110) LOSER

Each is $100 to win $90.

Nice little run comes to an end going 1-1 (-$10) on the night. Actually I'm not upset about this because it could have been a really bad night had I elected to play all the qualifiers.

Ok, having a tough time deciding which way to go today. Of the qualifiers I have St John's, CS Northridge, Hawaii and UCLA in hoops and Tampa Bay/Boston OVER, Philly -1.5, Toronto/Philly UNDER and Nashville/Vancouver UNDER in hockey.

Today's Plays:

St John's -3 (-110)
Philadelphia Flyers Puck Line -1.5 (+130)

Both plays are risking $100.

Wallaaaaaay! On paper the Flyers are better than the Leafs, but the Leafs are kind of hot and on a run trying to make the playoffs pal, Philly has a playoff spot all locked up and seem to be cruising lately, they fucking lost in Ottawa 4-1 to a team worse than Toronto.

Wal, handicapping games late in the season is more than looking at stats pal.

Yeah this is so much more than I bargined for. I bet you I haven't posted 500 plays since joining SBR in 2008. The worst part is the very realization that I'll not do much better or worse than 50% in the end.
 
Plommer I almost decided to stay away from using this game as the totals in the Tampa game and the Vancouver game rated higher but Tampa totals have hurt me and Vancouver's total is too pricey. I could have went with just basketball but in case I get lucky here I'll add a wee bit of profit cushion.

You need to straighten out that attitude.

Of course you're not going to do much better than 50% - welcome to the real world. Oddsmakers do have some idea what they're doing.

What you need to focus on is MONEY. You are up money and you would be up quite a bit more with some basic line-shopping. Your systems of determining picks appear to be working.

That seems very positive to me. Few people on these forums would be doing as well as you are doing. You're good at this.
