Blue Jays have a home crowd advantage when they play at Safeco Field in Seattle. I ain't lyin'. So many Jays fans head south from Vancouver and thereabouts - and they are a particularly enthusiastic bunch - that they outnumber and outnoise the Mariner fans.

I feel like I'm catching a break in a way though. The Blue Jays, having removed themselves from relevance, are demanding next-to-zero of my time. That's not a bad thing when you are trying to write a novel.
