I saw about 15 minutes of an early round. Had it on mute while talking on the phone. As far as things to watch on mute while talking on the phone ---> pretty good.

There was a lot of taking of pitches while I was watching. Guys just watching perfectly good pitches sail by one after another. Had me doing this a lot: :dunno:

But some home runs hit too though of course. Bautista looked good. There was one guy I never heard of. That is my current state of sports fandom. There are all-stars I never heard of.

It sounds like you may have missed Stantons 510 foot HR. It was 5 rows from leaving the stadium (shame the wind was blowing in).

Unless maybe you saw it and it was one of the "some home runs" that you mentioned.

:handshake:

I think Puig failing to hit a HR was  worthy but not nearly as bad as ESPNS technical mistakes (Berman and Kruk sounding very unprofessional on a hot mic) and cameras being on people holding their cell phones and not focused on batters hitting HRs.

Stanton is a good fit for a very casual fan. Hits the ball ridiculously far.

You'll hear more about him in 2016 when the owner of the Marlins trades him to Boston/New York/Name That Major Market for a riding lawn mower and a patio set.
