Tampa Bay Rays sign Hank Blalock

it's just to a minor league deal but that's just to see if he can make the roster during spring training. I've always liked this kid and hope he can get over the injuries that have plagued him the last couple of seasons.

His major drop in batting average is a real concern. However he did hit 25 bombs last year. He could help the the Rays in a platoon and play against right handed pitching. The Rays would be very smart to keep Blalock away from any lefties as he can't him them worth a shit.
