Here is a recent thing my sister linked to facebook. It is very representative of her current state of facebook mind. She is either following (with a microscope) horrible tragedies involving children or getting completely goopy about the unspeakably profound beauty of parenting.

I don't know. I'll be interested to hear what people think about this one. I imagine some people think it is incredibly beautiful. Moving perhaps.

The caption says

Epic Parenting
There are no words.

Call me a terrible person. What do I care at this point? I am beyond redemption. But I find this absolutely hideous.

I think that Matty and his twin bro have been doing that same pose for over 30 years now...

still naked

still epically beautiful

Psychologically, it reminds me of those sorts of guys (not that we have any of them here at gamelive of course) who feel a constant need to prove they are not homosexual. It's like relax, you're fine, no one was saying you are homosexual.

It's like my sister has a constant need to prove she is a caring mother. Dude, I never doubted it.

:dunno:

I hate when people post about tragedies, I mean unless it's something they are going through. I mean that's some sad shit, why the fuck would I want to see that?!

Those baby faces are slightly creepy. Don't really get the captioning, but ok.

Yeah maybe but I don't have it in my heart. My sister gets a pass. She has mega-love for her kid and it is making her goofy.

You'd think she could get the message from the overall response. It's not just me either.

Pictures of Andrew ---> she gets likes, happy comments, whatnot

Tragedies or aggressive niceness based on external sources ---> crickets chirping

Anyone remember when that group did a cover of Somebody That I Used to Know where there were 5 people playing 1 guitar?

Someone just posted that on facebook and it showed up on my wall. Her comment is, "Wow, this band is amazing!"

The poster is pretty hot girl that I kind of have a thing for.
