Not "get depressed" more like suffer from depression in the clinical sense.

A while back I had no desire to get out of bed, just wanted to die.

Not easy to overcome, depression has affected quite a few of my family members, two have committed suicide, one was fairly recent (and devastating). One of the reasons I mock death and make fun of tragedy.
