If you bet them live then congrats. They were huge dogs down 2-0. Canucks won because of a hot goalie, he was outstanding, stopped 37 shots or something. This is sports. The result did not surprise me even a little. The game winner was a shot that should have been stopped but Leaf goalie has lost all confidence lately and the end result was a loss. Sometimes the better team outplays their opponent b leaps and bounds and a couple lucky breaks and the dog is live.
FWIW I never bet because I saw -395 and was honestly expecting -200. If Leafs are -200 or -1.5 was plus money I lose my entire bankroll.
I got saved by the shitty price. Less than 25 cents on the dollar? I don't bet that crap.

I get it pal. I have been betting Buffalo and Ottawa as huge dogs for tiny amounts myself because anything can happen.
Baseball even better for big dogs. One thing I've noticed over the years is that late in the season when an NHL team is not playoff bound they are under no pressure and young players play hard to earn spots on next years roster. They often win as big dogs.

Yeah, this year NHL has been ridiculously bad for dogs. I figure that's why the prices are getting so big. Maybe there's value on em now. But with this new system of playing the same team many times
