You know how that one ended? The owner embezzles something like $8 Million in escrow funds. I'm going from office to office and every closing is "dry" meaning no money for realtors, sellers or buyers because he's stealing it all. He did quite a bit of time for that, and so did his trash bait and switch Loan Officer brother for molitov cocktailing someone's home, I shit you not.

Anyway, let's focus on remote closing specialist roles so that we get the money but don't have to deal with commutes.

Job Title - Closing Specialist II
Location - Remote

Job Description
Responsible for supporting real estate closing transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication with both internal and external customers including lenders, borrowers, notaries, vendors, attorneys and county offices. Utilizes working knowledge and expertise of mortgage loan documents and recording requirements at the various counties nationwide. Demonstrates basic technical aptitude and knowledge of systems and tools. Accountable for meeting hourly SLAs and time-sensitive production goals with accuracy and professionalism. Resolves closing issues that may impact signing and funding dates. Compiles documents for a closing package including preparation of Stewart Title documents, ATLA Settlement Statement, gathering of state-specific forms, tax information, and order payoffs. Identifies and resolves basic informational or clerical errors related to vesting, loan amount, payoff, and taxes in a timely manner. Reviews loan documents for accuracy and completion to ensure CD balances with ALTA; follows up with lender if ATLA modifications are required. Calculates title fees, transfer taxes, recording fees and payoffs; identifies and escalates incorrect monetary amounts.

Had a few recruiters reach out awhile back to be a recruiter so I reached out to all of them on LinkedIn and politely said "confirm with me it isn't a 100% commission position and we can speak in further detail". I do know that the effort was there with the last recruiting position, but that was straight commission which I can't handle.

I know I'm good with people because I'm a good guy when I don't have to destroy scumbags, and like to help non scumbags, so I'm open to it. Still really want the remote recruiter thing but I did that a good bit ago, so that might not be possible.
