No you did not
I said Boston not you
I said Boston not you
It is gonna be Tampa Bay, Boston or San Jose. Losing looks so good on the Caps. They should get rid of their head coach before his fat head just explodes on the bench...Feed him a few more Big Macs and he will just die of a heart attack. I dunno bout you guys but if my coach was a fat slob of a man, I don't think I would listen to him too much either... Have fun on the Golf course OVIE.

Hang on now Reno.
Ovechkin did grow up playing the Soviet system as did Malkin, Kulemin, Kovalchuk, Datsyuk etc. The problem with Ovechkin is he doesn't know how to use his teammates around him and he thinks it's his responsibility to do it all himself when the team is losing. Ovie gets the puck and he does what you say he does i.e. takes screen shots. He's certainly not a team player that's for sure.
Crosby has been a natural leader since he laced up the blades. I admit he was whiney during his rookie year, but you have to admit his maturity level is way beyond his years. I honestly cannot think of another athlete in all of N.A. professional sports who carries themself better than Crosby. Take another young captain like Toews. Again, his maturity level is very impressive....as is his ability to lead by example is impressive. Maybe some day that littel punk Patrick Kane will learn a thing or 2 from him.
Also, those names you mention of Russian players, none of them have been influenced much by the Soviet school of hockey. It looks like they went through a Russian system that either has no means or desire to teach players classic European/Soviet hockey. The only player I could think of still in the league from the Soviet era is Kovalev. But he's always been a selfish player in the NHL.
Ovie's "chrushes a lot" style is going to shorten his career. All he needs to do is ask Wendel about that style of play.
