Pavy, I saw a tv special on this and they proved that it was toilet manufacturer rather than the globe positioning that caused the water to go backwards. The myth was busted.

Awesome!! I thought I'd been ripped off in the cool toilets area. And to be honest, I'd never thought to look in my entire time here until I was asked to make a video of it. There is definitely a lot less water in the bowls here and Australia is the home of the dual flush: You push one button when you've only just tinkled in the bowl and the other when you've deposited a beauty. It saves water that way and considering the state I live in is suffering from a water shortage, it's a very good thing.

1. Today: the Flyers because a guy I was in a long-term relationship with plays for them. Of all time: The Oilers ONLY when they had Gretzky. Always in my heart no matter how much they may suck balls on any given day: the Leafs and the Canadiens (only because I cried like a baby when they won in 92/93.)

2. Only with my son.

3. 35 and barely alive.

4. TennisInsight and ATP, IMDB Pro for work, Fuckyeahglobetrotters to drool, Vimeo, SmittenKitchen and Martha Stewart so I can pretend I'm a domestic goddess. Boring.

I haven't said a word! I'll honestly check if he's home at Christmas. He said he would be for a few days so I'll let you know.

I will say though that each guy who plays in the NHL and makes good cash today started off as just another teenage kid with a dream, usually in a strange town/city trying to make his way up the hockey food chain. Most of them have pasts that involve a girlfriend or 18 along the way. Unless they're gay of course.
 
I think I know of at least 2 who are gay but none of the guys I know that currently play in the NHL are willing to tell me for sure other than giving me little hints.

As far as who he is, I guess it seems more impressive than it actually is/was IF you were on the right track. He was just a normal guy at the time who happened to be really good at hockey. Now we're older and we both have children so it seems like a lifetime ago although he's always managed to remain pretty level-headed about most aspects of what's gone on around him. From what I've been privy to anyway since I'm obviously not a part of his day-to-day life anymore.
