Alice In Chains will be in town on Apr 24th. There is no way I can possibly miss this show. They have always been my favorite band, and their recent resurgence with a new front man has been surprisingly pleasing.

Also on the card, Sevendust, who I also enjoy quite a bit. As well as Puddle of Mudd and Limp Bizkit just for added fun.

Just realized that is the same night as the WEC ppv card with some fight-of-the-year candidates. Jose Aldo-Urijah Faber & Ben Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone. Ordinarily I'd just record this, but since it's the WEC's first ever PPV, I can't even do that. Sucks!!

Also, Tom Arnold is in town that weekend! But I can go see him on Friday I suppose.

This sucks!

:old:

1. WEC PVV 2. AIC Don't know anything about fighting but there's nothing like watching a sporting event when the moment arises! A band? Have you ever gone to a concert and they just didn't have that wow factor?* VanHalen great but Sammy doing some of the best early stuff just doesn't do it for me!

*can't remember, but maybe we ran short on dope that night?

Pavy I have DVR...but can't record pay per view events. That's what I've been told at least.

Monkey...I am paying extra to get on the floor. I want filthy stinky muther fuckers with nose piercings up shoulder to shoulder with me. I can't wait.

You may have to use your camera and set it up in front of the TV before you go to the concert to record the PPV. Necessity is the mother of invention!

That is a no brainer. Watch the PPV

AIC is good and I liked the last album even though the singer tries way too hard to sound like Staley. Staley's voice was a big reason I loved AIC and I don't really care to hear someone else sing the old songs I love. Sevendust and Puddle of Mudd are okay but could care less if I saw.

And Limp Bizkit??

I hear ya on the Bizkit....but I would be willing to bet that over 75% of all the people who so easily make fun of Limp Bizkit and Creed now, used to own a cd by one of those bands, if not both.

Man this is tough.

I did own the first Limp Bizkit album and liked a few of the songs.

Creed I am in the minority. I hated that shit from day one. And then when the one guy in the band started trashing my favortie band, Pearl Jam, I wanted that group to die a painful death.
