It's like comparing MacDonalds to my apartment. At my apartment, the burgers are much better and the atmosphere is more relaxed and comfortable and intelligent, but MacDonalds is bigger and louder and more appealing to the tasteless and simple-minded.

It is my understanding that he did some front page work for you guys unpaid, kind of as a trial run, then never heard anything back?

This would be quite a missed opportunity for SBR. I mean, have you seen the guy's record? Have you seen the guy's writing skills??!!


Do the right thing here, Shannon, and shore up the talent that is Swinging Johnson as your own. Then be sure to put one of those rival forum moratoriums on him. Please.

Biggest advantage for me at SBR is they make me feel smarter and funnier. Gamelivers keep it real and remind me I am neither. Luv'em for it though. Plus Gamelive has no-one to openly poke fun at without them realizing it.

My vote is for SBR. Reasons:

1. They have more than 5 people posting at any given time. Most posts aren't worth reading NEXT

2. SBR points. Hey, I love'm. Whether you save them and buy something or gamble them. There's no down side to SBR points. That's if you get them my points and many others here have been taken away. No downside no upside just something they took away from you.

3. Innovative site. SBR TV to contests to Casino to SBR sportsbook. Always seeking to improve. As with above not eligible for contests. Nothing there of interest, what else you got Johnson?

4. Some characters at Gamelive but many more at SBR. I like the Characters here. Some of the better SBR characters make an appearance here.

5. They actually do something for the bettor. They will intervene on behalf of a bettor if there is an issue with a sportsbook. If you scam a sports book they might try and help you, I've never needed SBR intervention but I do know a few how have and yes they will intervene. +1 there.

6. I could care less if they have banners. Alert the press, SBR is making money! Oh nooooo. Not over our disgruntled, bitter gambling bodies they won't. Bastards! Gimme a break. Gives them the resources to make their site better. A non issue, I never clicked a banner at SBR and never will.

7. Good writers, good articles. Something for everyone. Yup listening to justin7 whine about people he believes are taking money away from him, good call Johnson


And no, I did not get compensated by SBR to post this. I do not work for SBR but I am a fan. Unbowed and unapologetic you friggin refugees.

Your hired Johnson, there's a reason a lot of us are refugees and that's because of SBR policies and procedures that effectively forced some of us to leave. I still occassionally post at sbr but there is no reason to.

Ah Bread, the wound is still fresh isn't it? SBR effectively said Bread...don't walk away mad...just walk away. Wow! There was no Plan B for that was there?! The illustrious Bread, rivaling the legendary JJGold for SBR sainthood? And then, like a fallen angel, you've been scheming and plotting to get one, just one SBR bigwig to plead for your return. lol. Yes it eats me up inside daily. Makes me drink even more than usual, if you can believe that.
