Remember it really well.

The odd thing was, one of the most engaging and funny people in the room was the guy that looked liked he'd tried to kill himself by gorging on KFC everyday for 23 years, Brent Crude.

Funny looking dude but a real good guy, good poster too.

Justin was weird. I went over and introduced myself, just being polite and he just stared at me. For a minute I thought it was me, but three hours later he was sat in the same spot with the same drink staring at the floor, I just assumed he wasn't comfortable in company.

This is a bomb...

This is the best Christmas present a scam sportsbook owner has ever received. These stories are from Robbie (Zach) M\*\*\*\*\*\* and his ************ which promoted his Apex Sportsbook. Apex Sportsbook closed with player funds and SBR quoted him as saying he had some of the player funds but wouldn't pay because he wouldn't be able to start another venture. We followed him with that for about 5 years until he paid some of the guys who were still contactable... This was the same site that wrote Heritage was an SBR scam with his America s Bookie banner inside and where the "bailout" email spam came from this week. He's been angry for a lot of years and loving watching guys react to his "coverage". We aren't going to be baited each time someone posts a quote from a bad neighborhood site like this.

This is the first time we've seen this list but BI Jon stated personally that it's faked and there was never a category called "SBRmod". We see what you see above. Regardless what of it is their real log, every site tracks campaign referrals in groups of users. It's how a Matchbook and even a Fanduel decides internally to renew. It's how all traffic is tracked including traffic from http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/odds and even Amazon's internal software. It's what changes after you select the "where did you hear about us" dropdown on most sites that have a signup.

It's been years since a site SBR and posters considered decent has failed and two in over a decade. Many more well regarded books have been pulled down, some temporarily for missteps with players or slow-paying. Books like BetOnSports and recently America s Bookie have offered to pay to be here. The posting board is about 25% of the SBR network and BI was about 1/20th of the sponsor here. It doesn't make business sense to risk reputation and not how a site is successful long term.

There is always going to be a conflict of interest when sites have "featured products". We know that which is why there are about 50 tools here to research what aspects are important to you. BI wasn't the #1 book, it wasn't even top 10 or top 40. But, it was a lot of poster's #1. It was a B book that started out doing things right but it was new. It will be the last B book.

We know now once the owner was out, in this case but not always, it was over. There was nothing players could have gained a week earlier had we taken them off the forum and of course nothing was gained by SBRforum. To my knowledge one could not signup. Unfortunately, a good in-tact brand wasn't enough for those in control to continue.

Yeah. Except for all of the posters stating that those are the right account numbers and balances.

Really unlucky for SBR that someone faked a list and somehow luckboxed into guessing the right account numbers, names, and balances of at least a handful of players. Somehow that fake list has some believers.

They just keep putting their foot in their mouth.

this is a little off track and im not making light of the shitty situation at all....BUT
young gamblers are fucked in the head... who the fuck deposits money (that could go towards xmas gifts) and counts on making money to have a better xmas  (obviously, a lot of assholes)... how about you just not gamble for a little while and have a great xmas and not worry about it... i have very little pity for any asshole that says they were counting on this money for xmas...why in the fuck would you put yourself in a situation to count on this money...unreal

if i ever got to the point that i couldnt buy some gifts because all my money was tied up, i give rj the go ahead to send jungleman here with a machete

Agree with rito. The sharps will always be around no matter what. But this new breed of young players that SBR worked hard to bring into this dying business of offshore gambling will never trust offshore again now that they lost it all.

To be fair, right after the kid was born and I was negotiating with my other job, gambling was really my only income. It was either that or jump into savings or trust acct bs from my family. It was never going to be live or die but it would've made a difference between a lot of things at that time. And I just happened to fall on whatever variance ladder Ganch talked about + a few friends working in those two sports at that exact second I needed it. Total fluke and I'll always be grateful. So I can see how ppl got stuck there for Xmas. I buy a lotto ticket and start spending the cash. I can't blame any of them even if they deposited jack vs their fps and bonuses. It's still their money and they should still have it now.

oksy from an objective POV why didn't you state that when you made the thread if that were you intentions? This creates motivations to keep reading into your motives and connections.

I personally think you might want to stop "debating" this with those that are attacking you. I'm not sure what justice you imagine coming from it.

When I made the thread I had spent some time reading old threads at SBR and they weren't jiving with me. But again, I don't really play offshore anymore other than at 5Dimes, well and Pinny but that's not even offshore, and my risk tolerance is very low so I wanted to get some outside feedback from ppl who weren't already raging at SBR. I knew if I had posted a blatant q here ie what do you think of bi right now that it would hit multiple forums instantaneously and be taken as an SBR staff member saying something. I also wasn't even sure any of you could play there but I knew also asking you in the SZ was pointless as it's open to so many ppl I've been derailed several times. So I figured I'd go the generic way... knowing that the guys here are always forthright and if they have a problem or opinion they'll say it. Then I figured I'd contact them privately, which I did with Plommer as he PM'd me on Facebook quite quickly, and say what I thought. None of it would've mattered and I don't thinnk anyone would've cared anyway. But I'm no offshore expert and will never hold myself out to be one so I don't mind taking whatever bashing as long as it's legit. I just felt something was wrong after seeing some things that seemed really off and wanted more opinions from people who don't frequent SBR and won't go hysterical.
