Clear your browser cookies and/or cache.

I tried that and now both my ipad and computer still have the new page. .am I supposed to register on that page? I tried that and it kept telling me that I was typing in the captcha incorrectly. I have to google "gamelive hooligan" to get on here or keep asking FW for the link.

You mean you write gamelive.com/forum in your browser address bar and it still shows the other page?

on the laptop/IE press the Ctrl key + F5 at the same time

no need to sign up at the other page, completely optional

Go to the "Settings" icon, on the left look for "Safari" and select it, scroll down to the button that says "Clear History and Website Data"

If type in just gamelive, you will get the Music/new home page, if you want to go straight to the forum, just type gamelive.com/forum
Sounds like everything is running correctly for you at this point.

There should be a forum link on that main page, imo.
