I hear ya

I'm just saying Steve your "audience" is only this chick when it comes down to it.

I'm glad you share, I'm glad you come to this forum to get advice from posters. but when it comes down to it. THAT audience is looking for entertainment value above all else, including your happiness.

when push comes to shove, deal with this chick the way you want to. take our advice with a grain or three grains of salt.

I like the way you post..

I llke how you put yourself out there, as real, authentic, no holds barred..... its real and its vulnerable

I guess I'm protective of that sort of spirit... I'd like to see more of it

somtimes life is dull, and there is no need to spice it up for posters.

live your life with the right amount of spice and other ingrediants, no matter what any internet nobodies say

I really appreciate that Arch.

the bottom line too is that I don't know how to be anything else. I just don't.

It's a big part of the reason I come to you guys for help. I strike out with women in the long run in large part because I am heart on your sleeve guy. Nice, treat them well (at least I like to think so). I like to think all leverage games, all their allusions to "being attracted to the bad guy" are for dumb girls that I want nothing to do with and that a smart intelligent one whom would be right for me wouldn't subscribe, even inkling to those concepts.

In these volatile times of the 2011 dating scene, however, this just is not the case. Even the intelligent ones with real lives need some "mystery" because it feels cool and it builds attraction. Concepts like that. I'm not going to be a douche who steals money from them, lies to them, keeps them hanging or abuses them like these idiots out there. But there is a place in between nice heart on your sleeve guy who repeatedly gets shat on metaphysically and bad boy. You can be good and cool at the same time. I do view myself as a good guy but seeming cool to them and keeping them on the hook is something I admittedly need work on.

And as I know this won't appeal to the mass audience, there are other threads for that. There are some of you who like helping people with endeavors like those I have been involved in and I love each and every one of you for it.

I don't know

I'm a romantic

I think that there are nice and non-disillusional girls out there, that just look for "real" decent and nice guys

and they don't want to fight through the pretend "bad" OR "complicated" personas

the dating game is fun. but ultimately its a tease

I don't really think i'm authorized to speak on this subject

Well you know what the exchange I am having with the one of them I am most into right now is in large part being dictated by the message you suggested I send (well my very much watered down version of it) so you are invested my friend.

yeah. I hear ya

I'm more than culpable here

the hook is pretty painless on the internet for most. but this hook would hurt me or pride me if it worked out one way another long term

I hope it works out

Getting ready to ask her out, almost closing time.

Exciting, I know. :bread:

RE: Sick sense of humor
How was your weekend, good?

Ok here, met some girl from this site actually. Very sweet and nice but I was just bored unfortunately. Nice dinner though, I wasn't into her from the start but you know I consider myself a nice guy so I went though the motions. I hope things work out for her.

Did you get into anything decent? Did you bust anyone for tax evasion? That always makes my weekend.

RE: Sick sense of humor

Oh, I hear ya on the "not into it" thing....I have made myself feel like a complete bitch several times for needing to tell someone that I was sorry, but I just didn't think I was the right girl for them....

Recently, I have been out with a guy twice and he seems to be a completely wonderful person, but I am just not feeling that "Wow" factor that I am so hoping for.....the first time he was majorly nervous so I knew it was only fair to give him a second chance and now I am kind of regretting it.....

Tax evasion isn't my thing~bank regulation is my thing....I don't get to bust people in my present line of work, but I can call in the big dogs for such a thing and have been the person that has mentioned an issue to bank management that has gotten a few people fired. One guy was practically dragged into the office and fired in my presence...I felt absolutely terr ible for the guy~but he did commit mortgage fraud....so I blamed myself for about 10 minutes then realized HE did the crime, not me.

I was rather shocked at the amount of snow we got last night...hard to believe that I had my bike out for a bit on Friday and then woke up to this.

So you find nice and sweet boring...hmmm...not sure what to think about that :)

I have to go and get ready..off today and doing dinner at a friends house in a little while..I haven't seen her kids in way too long, so I am quite excited...the youngest is four and glues herself to me as soon as I walk in the door...I absolutely adore her :)

Hope to hear from you again,
Denise

Lol another one, pretty cute actually, from her pics a little bit ago:

"What is up with the third pic?"

Which of course is the referenced picture.

She's not bad looking eh fiver? I'd say she must be fake but her profile looks pretty legit.

She's is into horticulture it says.

Maybe I can get her to use her talents to grow some plants for us like in that picture of you in your avatar?
