Well last week I was in Dollar General doing some grocery shopping and these were $1.50 a box where as Triscuits were like 2/$5. I figured why not give them a go with some dollar general Cheddar cheese ($2.50). I also bought a Dollar General Cutting board ($1) and Dollar General Parsing Knife (I have no idea what parsing is but it looked sharp) for $1.
Anyway seeing as how generic brand shopping can be very volatile and can be a very fickle game I wanted to take the time to review. The crackers are surprisingly tasty. I expected a low salt content and horrid texture in comparison to normal Triscuits. I am pleased to say the texture is better than normal Tricuits in my opinion.
The cheese is solid too. I mean it's cheese, how bad can it be right? tastes good and should condense my bowels effectively. It cuts effectively and all.
Speaking of cutting the parsing knife is a real value too. Again I don't know what parsing is at all but it cuts the cheese nicely.
Which reminds me of the cutting board. Cheap plastic yes but for a buck solid enough for cutting or spanking if I feel naughty.
All and all 5 stars on all of the above products, highly recommended.
