Lol that's pretty good - "Team officials said Summanen was not fired but sent home to Finland for medical checkups. Perhaps they could not make an appointment with his doctor until just before the second period of Game 7.

The other interesting thing is it seems the coach, a Finn, liked to cuss out his mostly European and Russian players in English. One player talked about Summanen’s communication being mostly “F-bombs.”"

Jagr wasn't the fastest player when he played in the NHL, so I doubt he could keep up with the pace of "todays" NHL.

Take a look at this year's scoring leaders. Look at Brandon Bochenski's numbers vs. Jagr's. Bochenski couldn't crack a top 9 spot on any bottom feeding NHL teams like Edmonton, Sens, Isles or Colorado.

The KHL is a much inferior league to the NHL and Jagr isn't exactly lighting it up over there. If he came back to the NHL next year he would likely embarrass himself and look as slow as a 50 year old out there.

Haven't followed what goes on in that league, I know I wouldn't want to put up with these asshole coaches. here or there.
Would like to be a coach or a strategist though. Feel like very few teams play an optimum strategy.

Blitty, you never know. Maybe he will play for 1 more season and hang em up for good. He could possibly score 25-30 goals especially on the PP. Not sure if he still has the foot speed though. He wasn't the fastest player to begin with, but he could dangle that's for sure.
