I'm not a hugger. I am a handshaker. I didn't hug anyone from gamelive.

If someone wanted to hug me I would go along with it. No big deal. I'm not as bad as I used to be.

I remember when I first tried to get clean/sober in 1990 I went to Narcotics Anonymous and I was very squirrely about it. Hugs Not Drugs is a big part of the NA culture. Everyone wanted to hug me.

Pushed me the hell away from there in a big hurry.

But I have chilled out over the last 20 years. I can handle hugging.

I even initiate hugging sometimes - although I ask permission first. I have learned from my work with trauma survivors that hugging is not always some minor friendly thing.



Perhaps I took that in too serious a direction.

but are you saying that no one on forumville even after 10 years could earn your trust and boil your affection-o-meter over the point to where you just HAD to hug him/her?


I'd certainly hug boner_18 and spoon fiver, kiss bread on the cheek, and beatthejerk on the top of the head, I'd cup matty's crotch, and pat daffy down for concealed weapons...

I'd hug Wally, I'd hug and then rough and tumble wrassle with RJ, I'd put my hands all over cougarbait's ass.....

somethings are just instinct though you just go with it in the moment....

I am a handshaker. Hugging is not some higher level of affection for me.

I was shooting pool with my buddy I have known since we were 11 last night and he's like me. No hugging. Never will be.

I am more okay with hugging females than males. I would be much more anxious to hug the gamelive females.

That's just the way it is.
