Matty, I was watching Judge Mathis and there was a guy who apparently ruined an engine on a motorcycle going 190mph (thats gotta be what 300km)
Is that foking possible? On a city road no less and was claiming that he's ridden that fast regularly on another bike with no problems.

I have a hard time imagining even on a highway if I'm going 75 and someone zooms by me at 190, what that would feel like.

Yah, unrestricted 1000cc sportbikes can easily do 190mph. Power to weight ratio is simar to that of a Formula 1 car.

whats the fastest you ever go? Can going that fast ever be relatively safe on a public road?

My bike is 30 years old, it maxes out at 135mph/215km/h. I've only ever done 100mph - the windblast gets scary at that speed. The BMW I rented last summer had no windshield, so the wind was hitting my torso directly. It feels like you're going to fly off the bike.

Guys who post videos of their 1000cc sportbikes doing "299km/h" (the speedos won't display speeds past 299) are fucking nuts. It's safe in the sense that a skilled rider can easily weave around traffic, but no. One mistake and you're ground beef. One patch of oil in a turn and you're ground beef.

Some of the newer bikes can do 100mph in 1st gear. Mine has to be in 4th.

Me too. Seems like he's just going, like, 20-30 kph faster than them, not 200 (or whatever).
