Oddly enough, I was doing my typical lazy Sunday google adventures and ended up finding a story about weird ways people have died. I think it was a top 10 kind of thing. This was one of the stories...is this the same thing?

The first strike

In a similar incident at the weekend, a premier league soccer match in Johannesburg was brought to an abrupt end when lightning struck the ground.

Half the players from both teams - the Jomo Cosmos and the Moroka Swallows - dropped to the turf.

Several writhed on the grass holding their ears and their eyes. Spectators and coaching staff ran onto the pitch to help. Fortunately no-one was killed.

I always kinda wondered what Dramamine is supposed to do. I used to suffer from car sickness - and my family took a lot of long car trips - so they would give me that stuff ---> it just put me to sleep.

Which was basically fine. If I was asleep I wasn't barfing or feeling queasy or whatever.

However I have no idea if it actually addressed any symptoms or just knocked me the fuck out.
