just gonna post some stream of consciousness kinda ncaa stuff as I get pumped for this post-season (don't forget the NIT and CIT or whatever it is called.
spent alot of time going back and forth with the currency exhange a few blocks away, thanks to depositing at two books that use some sort of secondary agency for deposits. while i waited I just can't get over how EASY the Southeast bracket is.
when was the last time Duke didn't play a first round game in the Tarheel State?
fading the Big East big time in this tourney. They have alot of tough matchups in the first round too. Wouldn't be suprised to see 5 or more of them ousted early.
I really Like Old Dominion to upset Pitt in the 2nd round and make a decent run.
Morehead St. is another team that looks like they could suprise some people. I wouldn't be suprised to see them Knock off Louisville.
in the NIT I'm going to be loading up on Providence and Marshon Brooks... I think he can dominate those mid major teams
Cousin Sean Cousin Archie and Uncle John have big expectations for Derrick Williams from Arizona. He should have a big coming out party- this should make Steve happy.
don't know what to do with Uconn. They obviously love Tourney formats. They started out this year winning the Maui invite tourney over MSU and Kentucky. and they finished the year with that historic big east 5 wins in 5 days to become tourney champs.
how bout a martingale against them on the ml (and spread when they are favored).
No Way they win 6 more top competition games with that young team.
speaking of young teams who are some old/experienced teams? how beat super-underachieving Illinois? MSU, St. John's I think.
do you think the format with the first 8 teams playing before the tourney gets started makes finally seeing a 1 seed fall to a 16 seed more or less likely?
how many people have tru tv on their cable package?
Kentucky vs Princeton, i'm excited to see this matchup. I know Herman loves to see Kentucky play monkey ball vs slow white boys. But you know alot of the public will be pulling hard for academia to make it competitive.
