Weren't American Gladiators mostly whacking each other with giant padded Q-Tips, while wearing headgear?

I think wrestling deaths are/were a mix of drug abuse (not necessarily steroids) and CTE?

I’m watching the documentary on the American Gladiators now. They got hurt as much if not more than the average wrestler.

I thought the same way you did until I saw this. It’s insane

I saw that the moment it hit Netflix. My problem was I read all those stories in wrestling books (except the new sex allegations).

If I went into it without knowing that stuff it would’ve been awesome for me.

I still enjoyed it though. Good time killer for sure.

The American Gladiator one was cool because you get that friendship and backstage antics thing.

True but they did do that 120 city tour that one year. They didn’t go as long but they still went through quite a bit of abuse
