The chick in the video did a very nice job. It would be so easy to get condescending but she played it straight-up.

I also like how she broke down that the individual bag from the 3-pack, which is 4 litres altogether, is 1.33 liters. She took it to 2 decimal places.

Not condescending and good math. :handshake:

P.S. I don't use pesticides either. I tried growing basil, the bugs ate it all. I tried mint too, it didn't last very long either. Maybe next year.

I still have cayenne peppers from last year's crop in the freezer and pickled. We had strawberries in May in my garden. Not growing berries right now. Oh and the first year we planted we didn't get any crops from the strawberries. They came back this year with plenty of straberries.

Try to plant the basil and mint in pots instead on the ground. My mint and basil are growing well.

They were in pots....the mint dried up, and the bugs had a hay day with the basil! I'll be heeding this advise for sure though! Yeah, I am hoping to have strawberries next year, I also planted a little late in the season. Steve loves his cayenne, so the eventual goal is to dry/dehydrate and make our own crushed pepper.

What else are you growing?

There is a character in the TV show Ray Donovan named Van Miller. There was a guy in Buffalo TV sports that I used to see for years named Van Miller.

I don't know if the guy in Ray Donovan is supposed to be some kind of tribute. It seems unlikely. All I know is, whenever they mention the name Van Miller, it reminds me of, you know, Van Miller.

Cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants and some more herbs like oregano and rosemary. Once i pull out the tomatoes and cucumbers I will plant some garlic. Never tried it before.
