i was told to never bet hockey. i dont think ive done too well on sides. puck lines are great though.

hockey props are the best. too bad they hardly exist anymore.

my 4 yr old had a silent seizure today at school. teacher said he went unresponsive and his eyes started giggling for about 20 seconds then he snapped out of it.
I've never heard of it till I looked it up,
off to the doc tomorrow to get a referral to see a specialist... which is 2 hrs away so they can run test on him
the hits keep coming

In your research was there anything about head trauma being a cause i.e. contact football.

he doesnt play football
causes are unknown except that its brain waves going wrong
children b/t ages 4-8 usually grow out of it by 18...


on that note my 9 yr old took some shots this evening at practice that made me cringe.
I put him in pop warner league this yr b/c of the weight restrictions w/ age groups...
but they're not enforcing it, he's 70LBS and getting blind sided by a 10 yr old that weighs 150LBs

Sorry to hear that man. Poor little guy. My 3 year old has a severe tree nut allergy so I can relate to little boy trauma.


Let us know if you get buried with medical bills. I'd be willing to throw in some cash and I'm sure others would too.

no meds or anything. just low sodium diet cause of his kidney
this is the first time its happened that anyone has noticed.
I would freak if it happens when he's with me.
gonna see what his doc says tomorrow and go from there... but I'm sure she'll send him to a specialist to have all the test done

Some kids have silent seizures that go unnoticed because it just looks like they lost focus or they're daydreaming. Your son is very lucky that he has an observant teacher.
