I am starting to sense a pattern with my new job and I can guess where it will go.

Some parts of the job are pretty mindless and repetitive. Last week, being my first week, I still stayed pretty focused - but today I found my mind wandering more and more. I was writing songs while I was working. My body was doing one thing but my mind was doing something else.

That's not actually a horrible thing - getting paid to write song lyrics. However what I think will happen is I will start to make mistakes because I'll get so I am barely thinking about my work at all.

Hopefully my auto-pilot will be in good working order but I could see mistakes starting to happen.
