Maybe but I was thinking more of people who survive cancer or something - and then they go around talking about how much they now see how precious life is and everyone else is walking around like zombies worrying about all the wrong things, and the person who almost died has got it right and everyone else has it wrong.

Few signs of Halloween in these parts. Heard a few youthful voices outside earlier. Just walked to the bacon store and back - saw exactly one kid dressed up. Little girl in a tutu. Adorable.

Checked the front lobby of my building but nothing doing there.

Not a good spot for trick-or-treating. The highway is right there.

So that's about it.

Pretty Halloweeny around these parts. Maybe 20 trick-or-treaters so far.
