I swear I saw a news story about measles cases in the USA - and I think it was a single digit number of cases. That was news. A country of 300 million - and there are 9 cases of a disease that is harmless. Used to be anyway. Made you itchy for a while. That was about it. That was news.

My numbers might not be exactly right.

Which is not to say the anti-vax people aren't dumb as a sack of hammers.

You must have seen a number for a particular state, as there are far more than 9 cases since the start of the year.

I don't recall anyone I know ever having the measles, though I think pretty much everyone got chicken pox.
